The 2017 Westphest student film festival will be held on Thursday, May 18th in the URBN Annex Screening Room at 7:30PM. There will be a pre-screening reception at Landmark starting at 5:00PM. The deadline to submit is Tuesday May 2nd at 5:00PM. Submission forms are outside of the main office, UCROSS 057.

The categories this year are INTERMEDIATE CINEMATOGRAPHY, NARRATIVE, EXPERIMENTAL, INDEPENDENT PROJECT (must be for credit), DOCUMENTARY, PRODUCTION WORKSHOP, ANIMATION, MICROBUDGET, and FRESHMAN FILM. The submission fee is $10 for the first film you submit and $5 for any additional films. You will receive one ticket to the festival and pre-screening reception for that first submission, but not the subsequent ones.  All money goes towards cash prizes.
